Come join us as we rented an apartment in Buenos Aires from January 4th to February 23rd, 2019.
In an old building, this apt. has been renovated and decorated melting old and modern equipments. It offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry, an office, a modern opened kitchen, a large living-dining room, two balconies, a terrace.
In a nice small and old building (1940) with marble stairs, high ceilings and large wood doors, this apartment has been recently renovated and decorated melting a colonial architecture with modern equipments and decoration. It is on the second and last floor (without elevator) of a building with only six units (two apartments per floor). It has been equipped for four guests (up to six people for a short stay - four adults and two children). It has a total covered area of 95 square meters, two balconies (one with a view on « Luis Sáenz Peña » Street, the other one with a view from the back of the building) and a terrace (access via the common area of the building) of 16 square meters. The living / dining room offers a table with six chairs, a LCD screen 32’ with Home Theatre / Stereo Hi-fi / DVD player / box, a couch and three moderns armchairs. The kitchen is modern and opened on the dining room area. It is fully equipped: coffee-maker, toaster, electric kettle, electric oven, gas stove top, fridge with freezer, stools and other dishes and cooking utensils for six guests. From the kitchen, a small stair leads to the first floor of the unit with an office, storage and a small laundry area with a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath-tub / shower, hairdryer. The first bedroom offers two single beds (1,9 m. * 0,8 m) with each one an additional extra single (pullout bed of 1,7 m * 0,7 m), which makes a total of four single beds – or, according to your needs and instead of the single beds, one Queen Size bed of 1,9 m * 1,6 m. It has a balcony and air-conditioning. The second bedroom has a Double bed (1,9 m * 1,4 m) and a ventilator. Each bedroom has storage, sheets and towels. There are a safety deposit box, Internet Wi-Fi in the apartment.
The building hasn't extra services. It offers a terrace on its roof which has been divided in six parts (each apartment of the building has its own private terrace).
Interaction with guests
I live close from the apartment and I know very well the area (I lived 5 years in the apt.) to respond to any request you could have during your stay. During the check in, the facilities of the apartment are explained. A guide of the área is in the apartment (map of the restaurants, supermarkets, bus, subway...). There is a SUBE (public transportation card) in the apartment.
I am flexible for the check in / out which can be between 9 Am and 8 Pm (if there is no other check in / out the same day).
Outside this timeslot, on Sundays and Bank holiday, I ask for an additionnal of USD 20.
During the night between 11 Pm and 8 Am, I ask for USD 40 additional.
Other things to note
Many Tango places in the area (school, shows...), many fancy restaurants, popular restaurants. UADE University at only 4 blocks (one of the most prestigious universities of Buenos Aires).
